Get A Real Christmas Tree… From Our Forest to You
Our Camas Mountain sustainable forest is part of a small family forestry business that has produced forest-grown Christmas trees since 1947. Harvested Christmas trees are cut so the tree remains alive and lower branches continue growing into a renewed tree. In addition, we plant new natural seedlings which grow from the forest floor. Some of the regenerated Christmas tree areas have been allowed to grow without interruption for 40 years, with groves approaching 100 feet in height. These groves, along with areas of harvestable Christmas trees, form a patchwork of trees that provide a desirable habitat for the diversity of wildlife living in the forest.

Artificial trees are, by definition, fake. Nothing can replace the sight and smell of a fresh-cut, green Christmas tree. All of our Camas Mountain trees are part of the forest ecosystem and are allowed to grow naturally, with a minimum of culturing and pruning, rather than produced under agricultural farm conditions. Unlike cultured trees, our trees have whorls of branches with natural gaps between rows that allow ornaments to hang free for enhanced visibility.
